Foxen Canyon Wine Trail Makers Market Crawl
Date: Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21 from 11am to 4pm (you don’t need to be available for both)
Time: 11am to 4pm. Load-in will begin at 9:00am. You must be parked and fully set up by 10:30am.
Location: Wineries along the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail in the Santa Ynez Valley (click here to see a map) Your specific location will be determined at a later time.
Estimated Attendees: 11 vineyards on the trail will be participating and will be collectively marketing the event to their database of members and online. An ad will be put out in the local paper, a pr firm hired to market it to local media publications, and event listings will be boosted online. 150 posters will be printed and hung throughout Santa Barbara and Santa Maria counties, 1500 flyer postcards dropped at various locations as well. We are hoping to see atleast 1,500 people over the course of the weekend, though not all attendees will visit each and every venue.
Other: Each winery will their own mini makers market with 6-10 vendors, live music and a food offering. There will be one diy activity at each, an experience depending on the theme of the market (example - yoga classes for the wellness market) and pet and family friendly. We are working on a “passport” that guests can stamp when they visit each venue… if they collect a certain number of stamps, they will be entered to win a prize (or everyone might get a prize - still working that out).
Vendor Details:
10x10 space: $85 (fee for two days $150) (sold out for most markets)
7x5 space: $70 (fee for two days $125) (umbrella needed)
Tents, umbrellas, tables, etc will not be provided. Booth sharing is only acceptable with permission in advance, an additional fee may apply. If you are offering an free activity for our attendees, we will be offering a reduced rate. Please inquire for more info.
